These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of FineTunedCV.ai.

FineTunedCV.ai is operated by Vivek Gupta as a sole trader in the United Kingdom.

By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use FineTunedCV.ai.

2. Description of the Service

FineTunedCV.ai provides AI-assisted tools intended to help users:

  • generate cover letters
  • improve formatting and phrasing
  • improve alignment with job descriptions
  • provide role fit analysis and application observations
  • generate ATS-oriented recommendations
  • create downloadable application materials

FineTunedCV.ai does not provide:

  • legal advice
  • employment advice
  • recruitment services
  • guaranteed hiring outcomes
  • professional certification

The service is designed to support users in preparing job application materials.

3. User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for:

  • reviewing all generated outputs
  • ensuring accuracy of CVs and cover letters
  • verifying employment history and qualifications
  • confirming generated content reflects their real experience
  • deciding whether generated content is appropriate for submission

AI-generated content may:

  • contain inaccuracies
  • include incorrect assumptions
  • introduce industry-specific language
  • generate incomplete or imperfect suggestions

FineTunedCV.ai does not guarantee:

  • interviews
  • job offers
  • recruitment outcomes
  • ATS performance
  • suitability for any employer or role

Users should carefully review all generated outputs before using them.

Role fit analysis, ATS observations, and application recommendations are generated automatically using AI systems and are intended only as informational guidance. Users remain solely responsible for evaluating whether suggestions are appropriate, accurate, and suitable for their circumstances.

Any hiring decision remains entirely outside our control.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the service unlawfully
  • upload malicious or harmful content
  • attempt to reverse engineer the platform
  • interfere with platform security
  • automate abusive requests
  • misuse payment systems
  • use the platform for fraudulent applications or impersonation

We may restrict or terminate access where misuse or abuse is suspected.

5. No Accounts

FineTunedCV.ai currently operates without user accounts.

Users are responsible for safely storing downloaded documents.

We cannot guarantee continued access to previously generated materials.

6. AI-Generated Outputs

Generated outputs are produced using artificial intelligence systems.

This includes role fit reviews, match analysis, strengths and weaknesses observations, ATS-related suggestions, and application recommendations.

AI systems are inherently probabilistic and may produce:

  • inaccurate information
  • misleading wording
  • inconsistent formatting
  • hallucinated content
  • duplicated phrasing

Users must independently review and approve all outputs before use.

FineTunedCV.ai is intended as a productivity and drafting tool, not as a replacement for user judgement.

7. Payments

Certain features or downloads may require payment.

Payments are processed through Stripe or authorised payment providers.

Prices, currencies, and export options may change over time.

Users are responsible for reviewing pricing information before purchase.

8. Digital Delivery and Refunds

FineTunedCV.ai provides digital products and downloadable content.

By purchasing downloadable exports, users:

  • request immediate digital delivery
  • acknowledge that delivery may begin immediately after payment
  • acknowledge that cancellation rights may be lost once download access is provided

Except where required by law, refunds are generally not available after:

  • export generation
  • download access
  • digital delivery

Refund requests may be reviewed at our discretion in cases involving:

  • verified technical failures
  • duplicate payments
  • platform-side delivery problems

Operational logs and download records may be used to verify delivery status.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • FineTunedCV.ai is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis
  • we make no guarantees regarding uninterrupted availability or accuracy
  • we are not responsible for employment outcomes or user decisions

Subject to that:

  • our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the relevant service
  • where no payment was made, liability shall be limited to £0

We are not liable for:

  • indirect losses
  • lost opportunities
  • loss of income
  • reputational damage
  • recruitment decisions
  • reliance on AI-generated outputs
  • third-party platform issues

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

10. Availability and Changes

We may:

  • modify the service
  • suspend functionality
  • introduce limits
  • add or remove features
  • update pricing
  • discontinue parts of the platform

without prior notice.

11. Intellectual Property

FineTunedCV.ai and its branding, interface, and platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Users retain responsibility for the content they upload.

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive right to use generated outputs for personal and professional application purposes.

12. Privacy

Use of FineTunedCV.ai is also governed by the Privacy Policy.

Users should review the Privacy Policy carefully.

13. Third-Party Services

FineTunedCV.ai may rely on third-party providers including:

  • OpenAI
  • Stripe
  • hosting providers
  • infrastructure providers

We are not responsible for third-party outages, interruptions, or policy changes.

14. Security and Abuse Prevention

  • payment verification checks

to protect the platform and users.

15. Termination

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
